The Great Forum, News Music Now's flagship forum, is our offering to the many fans of news music that visit our site. If you're a news music fan visiting the site for the first time, we want to let you know that you're not the only one - the forums gives you a great way to talk to other fans of news music about new packages, trends in news music, personal opinions and much more. Its simple to create an account: just go to register, fill out the information, and you can immediately start interacting with other forum users. Our goal in bringing the News Music Now concept to life was to fuse a large selection of news music content from all walk of styles and composers together, to give stations not only one place they have to visit for help in finding news music, but also to offer our help every step of the way. We know how news music is viewed at many televisions and promotions departments around the country - as the last priority, with a "one size fits all" mentality. News Music Now gives your station the tools to make your own news music selection as fast and painless as possible, or we can deliver some custom-selected choices that will fit perfectly with your market and station. Already got a news music package but don't think you're using it to its full potential? Don't worry, we can deliver edits and customized synchs for your package, even recommending different packages that may share a similar style or signature if you're interested in switching.

Our partnerships with several news music companies keep us up-to-date with the latest trends in news music, so you don't have to worry about tracking the newest offerings in the news music world yourself. We are notified about late-breaking new custom packages just hitting market, custom updates to existing packages and legacy packages that you may not have heard of before. In addition, we offer quick reference samples for companies such as 615 Music, Cue 11 Music, Gari Communications, Stephen Arnold Music, Non Stop Music and several more! Most of the companies included and linked to on this website license a library of syndicated music packages to many television stations around the country and offer custom packages to larger market stations that would like to go the custom route.

News Music Now also serves another purpose - we share a part of news music history with the Internet and news music fan community. This website contains a vast well of educational opportunities for our fan base across the United States and our visitors in other countries. We've received lots of fan mail from outside the country and love to hear how people are enjoying the music that news music companies have graciously allowed us to share with them - people from Australia, the Czech Republic, United Kingdom, those interested in broadcasting and those who just like the style of production music. At this time, News Music Now is still a non-profit site, offering our brand examination and expertise to stations at no cost. With combined former experience in the broadcast and graphics field, we feel that promotion departments need a place to get an unbiased, professional consultation and we really put our best effort into it - we want to see our clients succeed in their market, and believe it or not, music is really a great contributing factor on how your production is viewed. News music consultation is what we do, so we strive to do it BEST. We really believe we are the best and that you will utimately be pleased by entrusting us to handle your next project.

News Music Now does not post high-quality news music cuts on the site; instead, we offer radio-quality (20KBps MP3) cuts as quick reference material for television stations and promotion departments. Abiding with the request of the news music companies that partner with us, we have agreed to keep all cuts at a low-bitrate quality, exceptions being prospective clients which we openly welcome. The 615 Music, Stephen Arnold Music, Gari Communications, Groove Addicts and Non Stop Music samplers are, however, available to representatives from interested television stations.

While we recognize the fact that there are many fans of news music and the companies that produce it, we ask that you keep site participation within the confines of The Great Forum. We welcome all our visitors to listen to the reference samples on the Local Music page, but we ask that fans do not visit the samplers or request high-quality cuts, as those are reserved for actual clients. Fans are encouraged to listen to the music for personal pleasure, but we would stress that these files are not to be used in any sort of newscast or production environment ("virtual or fantasy newscasts" included.) As far as playing back the samples, it is acceptable to play the music on a portable CD or MP3 player with headphones, but you may NOT legally play it on a public address or sound system. Any use of this music outside of the blanket of the registrar's permission or a license is strictly prohibited.

To our visitors who are interested in joining The Great Forum, we welcome you with open arms and urge you to join one of the most innovative forums around. News Music Now's flagship forum helps many of our fans stay involved with the current trends of the news music community. While we do our best in controlling the content that appears on The Great Forum, we typically post the rules of etiquette for our users, and leave the rest on an accountability basis. We do NOT encourage news music trading among users and do NOT let members requests news music on the forum.
