Package/Cut Selection and Editing Services (Client Stations)

• Prospective clients are encouraged to contact us anytime via News Music Now's parent company, the Daystar Creative Group. Please give us any pertinent information about your station's branding, community involvement, strong points and the overall feel you want the music to convey. If you're gravitating towards a certain style of news music or have the graphics, but no idea what type of music to go with, we can help you fill in the blanks. Got some choices on your list but no idea where to go from there? As long as the package is in our library or our partnering companies can get us the cuts, we will be able to make your newscast's perfect sound. You might be surprised how we can help!

Becoming Partners with News Music Now (Music Companies)

• All news music companies, no matter the amount of syndicated packages offered, are encouraged to become partners of News Music Now. We're a non-profit platform dedicated as a hub for news music companies to display their offerings in a central place where stations can look for the music thats fits their newscast. To partner with us, please email joe@newsmusicnow.com and give us a background on your company and the packages you offer. Current client lists are appreciated and a CD-quality sampler is required - the sampler will be on a page ONLY for your company and will include any information you want on it (see our other sampler pages on the left bar of the Local Music section for examples.) Your sampler will be password-protected and only available to prospective clients of your company.
  
  If we are contacted by a client interested in one or more of your packages, we will request the cuts from you for an in-house synch and then forward the client on to one of your sales representatives. Cut samples for our Reference Library are appreciated, but not required. Consider it a place to give news stations a broader overview of your packages and a resource we can use to make synchs for your future clients. News Music Now is a great, free location to help advertise your company, especially if you don't have a corporate website, or are looking for multi-site advertising. Thanks for bringing your company into the News Music Now family!

Donating Packages/Cuts (Companies and Fans)

• We can always use help expanding our Local & Syndicated Music Reference Library and we appreciate the donations we get. Packages that are donated, go into the Library for a greater variety of samples for promotion departments at your client stations to listen to, as well as basis for synchs to future client stations. You can send whatever you deem necessary to the site through your private FTP site, our private FTP site, a file-transfer site, or through the mail. We also accept under 10MB donations via regular email. Please email us at the Daystar Creative Group for more information on sending us your company's music. Rest assured that high-quality cut samples are ONLY sent to prospective clients, nothing else leaves our facility.

Information on News Music (Stations and Fans)

• News Music Now has strong partnerships with most of the companies in the business. We are notified of new releases, updates to existing packages and we keep up with current trends in news music.

  This reduces the amount of time and effort the creative staff have to put into making this important creative decision.

• For information on currently-in-use (syndicated and custom) or legacy news music packages, you can write me at joe@newsmusicnow.com, whether you represent a station or are simply a fan of news music. Another excellent resource for information on news music packages is our own partner site, Cut Counts Now. The site offers late-breaking information, audio logo samples for many different packages, package reviews, cut counts and updates our partnering companies inform us about.
